The Sheffield Tomahawks American Football Club is open to players from 7 to 18 years. We have teams playing contact (kitted) and non-contact (flag). We welcome boys and girls of any background and ability. All you need is a positive attitude, a willingness to work as part of a team and commitment.
Founded by Paul & Dorothy Ledger, now stateside, the Tomahawks pride themselves on a no-nonsense approach to playing the game. American football is fun, it exercises your brain as well as your muscles. And unlike many sports it has a place for people of all shapes and sizes. We work together and get on together, we support each other and we play to win, but we don't lose site that it's just a game. We compete in a nationally co-ordinated league and have a strong history of success in recent years.
